okay, so it appears that I am stalking your blog as of late with my quickish replies, but I am way excited about the rechargable battery operated vaccum. Its like the swiffer, but it sucks up the dirt- great for quick clean-ups and its better at pick up than the plain swiffer.

I can't google a brand, but I do know that a coupon recently came out for one of them, and I think it may have been the swiffer version-its white, I remember.

I have a reg. swiffer too and I like it to quickly get rid of dust bunnies on hardwood, but that is all it is really good for. Plus you have to buy the cloth refills, because paper towels or other makeshift ones don't really pick up.

Well, I have one that was used ONCE that I'm about to give to goodwill...does that say anything?? Really not worth the money in my opinion!!

I have used mine for a while now, like a couple of years? It really is convienient to have everything in one for hard floors and when the little ones are running about it dries pretty quickly. Mine just has the liquid that dispenses with a button push.

ahhhhhhhhh... swiffers... I never used the thingamobob you picture... but I was first introduced to swiffer dust cloths when I lived for a while with your Uncle Clinton and Aunt Kim... she loved 'em... and I did, too...

Indulgent? yes, I have to say so... but, ahhhhhhh... they work so good...

yeah, for quick cleanups, it's okay. however, i feel like it does leave a residue on the floor. not too fond of that, myself.

If you have wood floors, swiffers are a MUST!

I make it more cost effective (and green *groan*) by cutting up cleaning rags in the size of the swiffer wipe and just washing and reusing.

And to give my wood floors a little pickup without the hassle of mop,bucket, and Murphys, I spray a little dust spray on it, too.

Don't waste your money. It looks convenient and easy, but the refills are not cheap. I have two that i'll GIVE you for free, one has the batteries that dispenses the liquid, the other is just the regular one you use with the wet pads. Wish I had known you were interested, I would have unloaded it on you while you were here.

I love my regular swiffer for the hardwood floors! I've never tried the "wet" one. And used dryer sheets work exactly the same as the $$$ swiffer refills.

I use the dry and wet Swiffer pads in my dorm room. The dry ones are great for collecting dust and hair and all that. I didn't find that the wet pads were all that great because I was not tracking in mud or anything on my shoes. So, the dry ones are what I use now.

Swiffer Wet Jet is a lifesaver for those of us with wood floors and spill-prone children. Since I have a million miles of flooring to clean, I still use the old mop and bucket for major cleaning days and then whip out the Swiffer for all the times in between (and lately, those times are growing larger and large...sigh). Worth the moolah.

seriously, dudes, you don't have to shell it out for refills. just cut up cleaning rags in the shape of your refills and wash and reuse. (I have to keep plugging my one genius moment in my career as a domestic. lol)

Warning: SOAP BOX. I am so against the Swiffer for philosophical reasons. I think disposable items are one of the biggest problems of modern society. It is really not any more difficult to wipe up a spill with a dish rag, or just sweep with a broom. If you can make your own washable refills like jeannette said, I am all about that. But I know the wet jets have containers that you absolutely cannot refill with your own cleaning liquid. You HAVE to buy their refills. And those bottles go quick. Total crap. Stick with what you've got!!
