Dangerous

nocountry.jpg

King Pen and I were talking last night about this movie, which I accidentally called, "No Country for Old Women".

Why does that make me burst out laughing? Cause old ladies don't cause trouble, people. At least, not in roving gangs. Unless you count the quiltin' fueds, which can get pretty vicious.

I've known all my nannies to stir up a little trouble now and then, WG. Don't discredit them!!

So, speaking of, what did you think about the movie?

Haven't seen it yet... but I heard it's depressing. Or is that There Will Be Blood? These two movies might as well be the same thing in my brain.

I think the plethora of spunky bumper stickers can attest to the feisty nature of the nannies in our lives. They're a different breed!

I wasn't a huge fan. It had some cool cinematography but it left me blah. No redemption. No justice. Maybe that's the point of the movie? Not sure. Love to hear what you think.

Hey Gals,

I know ya'll like to read... you should read the book. Seriously. I thought the movie was pretty good. I knew there was something bigger to the movie that I was probably missing. I just finished the book... AMAZING! The movie is now in my all-time top 5!

HATED the movie...very bad ending I think...absolutely no justice.

Yeah, I pretty much hated it too. Maybe I will try the book though.

Oh, hm. Now what do I do? See, or not see? All these conflicting messages! Oh, the drama!
